About the project

Expanding the Experience of Away Chiangmai Thapae

Following the success of Away Chiangmai Thapae Resort #1, this second project represents the next chapter in the development of the wider resort experience.

The vision was to introduce additional functions that would allow guests to experience more than accommodation alone. With the addition of dedicated spa and yoga spaces, the project expands the resort into a more holistic environment focused on relaxation, wellbeing, and meaningful guest experiences.

Building upon the character established by the original project, the design continues the story of creating a tranquil retreat in the heart of Chiang Mai.

Design Philosophy

Continuity

Building upon the vision of the original resort while creating a seamless continuation of the overall guest experience.

Wellness

Introducing spa and yoga spaces that encourage relaxation, balance, and personal wellbeing.

Serenity

Expanding the resort experience with new activities that give guests more ways to connect, unwind, and enjoy their stay.
