About the project
A Contemporary Expression of Lanna Living
Located beside the lake at Green Valley, this two-storey house explores a contemporary interpretation of Lanna architecture.
The design uses a broader range of materials, including gypsum board and cement, to move beyond the traditional material palette and create a more contemporary feeling. These materials give the house a simpler, more modern character while keeping the project connected to Niwat Architects’ interest in Lanna architecture.
The result is a house that reflects the idea of Lanna contemporary living through its architectural character and material choices.
